About us

We are Johan and Barbara Grims from Baarn, the Netherlands and we took over
La VilléGiature in February 2022. Alongside the existing gîte (holiday cottage), we added a minicamping site and chambres d’hôtes (guest rooms). We got out of the hectic world of careers and business in order to enjoy a freer existence in peace and quiet and lots of space all round us. We really love to welcome guests to our place, to pamper them and to ensure that they have things the way they want them. La VilléGiature offers all kinds of options to do just that. We have two grown children in the Netherlands, son Koen and daughter Iris. We are enjoying our wonderful life in France.

Table d’hôtes (host’s table)

Several evenings a week, we prepare and cook a delicious three-course dinner for our guests, naturally accompanied by appetizing local wines such as Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé. And on one of the evenings, we even fire up our pizza oven for you.

Garden

We have created a couple of terraces in our big garden so that you are free to enjoy your book or just to take a moment to sit and quietly enjoy the view. For kids we have a swing, a trampoline and a table tennis table.
