We are just 10 kilometres from the small town of La Charité-sur-Loire. As you may have guessed from the name, this little town is located on the banks of the River Loire. If you like tarts and cakes then a trip to Chariteas is certainly worth it. Sancerre, famous for its white wines, is about 20 km away - its centre features a plaza that is home to numerous great little restaurants.

Place of pilgrimage Vezelay, stopping place on the route to Santiago de Compostella, is 55 km away. In addition, the towns of Nevers (30 km), Bourges (55 km) and Auxerre (70 km) are well worth a visit.
